method description: wake up in the middle of the night, get out of bed to do something, get back to bed and stay still for 3-30 minutes trying not to let your mind fall asleep. don't roll over, don't give in to the sensations. described in detail here (reddit warning)
my experience: tried the strategy for about three weeks, getting up at around 6 to walk around my room, water plants, open the curtains, pee, whatever came up. each and every time, i would just go back to bed and lie there for 15+ minutes experiencing nothing (none of the sensations mentioned) before giving up and going to sleep just to get a few more hours in before i had to wake up. waking up at 6 or so became enjoyable for me, having to wake up on time later was hellish.
lucidity level: some lucidity occured but nothing out of the ordinary, same frequency of LDs as without WILD.
remarkable dream(s): three dreams about getting my way with RM. don't remember the most lucid one bc i didn't write it down...!!!!
